Promotion & Relegation

Top 1st or 2nd team may be required to take part in Premier League playoff (if Scottish 1A top team opt in to playoffs, 3rd teams cannot be promoted to the Premier League). Bottom two teams relegated. If two teams relegated from Premier B (North and/or South) into 1A OR if top 1st or 2nd team lose Premier League playoff, 6th placed team also relegated. Also, If three teams relegated from Premier B (North and South) into 1A OR two teams relegated from Premier B (North and/or South) into 1A AND top 1st or 2nd team loses Premier League playoff, 6th placed team relegated. If three teams relegated from Premier B (North & South) into 1A AND top 1st or 2nd team loses Premier League playoff, 5th placed team will also be relegated. There will be an integrated league and cup programme this season. All teams to Trophy first round. BUCS Office reserves the right to amend these knockout qualification and promotion / relegation details in exceptional circumstances.
