Promotion & Relegation

Top two teams promoted, unless three teams relegated into 2A, then 2nd placed team to promotion playoff against 2A 5th placed team. If three teams relegated into 2A AND top 2A team loses promotion playoff, 1st and 2nd placed teams to promotion playoff. Bottom two teams relegated, 6th placed team will also be relegated if two or more teams relegated into 3A. If three teams relegated into 3A, 5th placed team will also be required to take part in a relegation playoff. If three teams relegated into 3A AND top team loses promotion playoff, 4th placed team will also be required to take part in a relegation playoff. You will be notified in due course by the BUCS Office. All teams to Northern Conference cup, fixtures played during league programme (see knockouts section for full draw and dates). The BUCS Office reserves the right to amend these knockout qualification and promotion / relegation details in exceptional circumstances
